Our work: All jewelry and silverware is hand fabricated in our studio from sterling silver, fine silver, palladium/sterling silver and gold. We do not use mass production methods in our studio. We use a minimum of machinery and love to use our hammers. Kim designs all the work, and the textures found within her collections are unique. Chain, earring backs, neck wires and other minor findings are purchased from a reliable supplier. All necklace clasps, where chain is used, are handmade. All stones are natural unless otherwise indicated. When stones are specifically cut for a piece, it will be indicated in the item description. If you have any questions or concerns about our processes or sources of materials, we would love to hear from you.
Caring for your jewelry: Where there is a high polish finish, please feel free to use a polishing cloth followed by a quick cleaning with mild dish washing liquid and a soft, clean cloth of natural fiber. When a whitish finish is present, this will eventually wear off to reveal the natural shine of metal as opposed to a machine finish. The texture present on most of the work is enhanced by you wearing it. If there is oxidization as part of the original design, this too, will change over time due to how much the piece is worn, touched and how it is stored. We encourage you to connect with us for how to restore your piece if you prefer it in its original state. Finally, we strongly advise against wearing your jewelry while sleeping, swimming and bathing especially if soft gemstones are present such as opal or turquoise. Additionally, your pieces should be kept away from strong or direct light and humidity and ideally worn regularly or stored in a good jewelry box.
Shipping: If you prefer USPS Priority shipping, please select it as a product and the additional charge will be added to your total for one item. If you order multiple items, they all will be shipped that way with the additional item charges added - you only need to select priority shipping ONCE. Otherwise, First class postage is used, with tracking and your item will be enclosed in a box within the padded envelope. For clients with items being shipped out of the USA, you will be responsible for all duties, tariffs and fees associated with the delivery.
Repairs and Returns: If an item arrives damaged, please send an image to our email immediately or within 7 days. If it is due to our negligence in packaging or fabrication, we will happily resolve the issue at our expense. If the item needs a repair due to regular wear and tear within 6 months of your purchase, please send it to us for a complimentary fix. If items have to be replaced after the six month period (i.e. you lost an earring back), please contact us for a replacement or repair and to find out the terms/cost. If you are able to come to the studio directly, most repairs are complimentary but please ask in advance.
Commissions: We LOVE commissions and it is the bulk of our work. Kim has experience working with people as far away as England by using email and sharing visual information such as sketches and photos. It is always easier to do such work face to face, but if you really love our work, we are happy to work it out with you. Kim loves a challenge.
Wholesale & Consignment: Yes! We have a line of wholesale work we are happy for you to sell. There is a minimum order. We only consign our work with galleries or if you are an established wholesale client. Please contact us for more information.
Exhibitions, teaching, etc.: Kim has shown her work across the USA and Europe in her 23+ years of practice. She has taught in the UK and throughout Colorado. If you would like her to participate in your gallery's exhibition, design a workshop, or take her workshops, please contact us. We love meeting new people and doing new things!
